We Need You

As a parent of an AGCS student, you are automatically a PTO member. There are lots of opportunities for you to help! Whether you have five hours a week or five hours a year, are full of ideas, or prefer to work in the background, there is a place for you. The PTO provides fun activities for our students and families and raises crucial funding for programs; your ideas, time, and talents are essential to these goals. 

Please note that, depending on what you volunteer for, Volunteer Clearances may be required. The PTO would be happy to guide you through the process.

About Our PTO

PTO Mission

The AGCS Parent Teacher Organization is an independent entity, separate from Avon Grove Charter School. They are focused on supporting the education of all students at Avon Grove Charter School by fostering relationships among the school, parents and teachers.

The AGCS PTO works closely with administration and teachers to support and enhance the daily school experience of all students by helping to fund the purchase of curriculum, technology, site renovations, educational assemblies, and field trip assistance to students in need.

How You Can Help

Answer Calls for Help: watch social media and the AGCS Sunday communication emails for upcoming events. Volunteer or reach out with comments and helpful information.

Direct Donation Plan: In lieu of a traditional catalog based fundraiser, the PTO also offers a Direct Donation Program. Please complete the AGCS PTO Direct Donation Online Form to make a donation with a credit card, eCheck, cash, or check. 100% of your donation directly impacts the funding of important school enrichment programs and helps AGCS continue to provide a quality education for all of our students. Donations of $25.00 per student or $50.00 per family is the PTO's goal, although any amount your family can give will be greatly appreciated.
