Inclement Weather Procedures

Whenever there is inclement weather throughout the area and schools begin to announce delays, early dismissals, or closures parents often have many questions about "what happens" - especially related to district-provided transportation.

 

We encourage all of our families to visit and familiarize themselves with the school's Weather Closing, Delay, and Early Dismissal Procedures.

 

Avon Grove Charter School’s current school academic calendar does not include “built-in” snow make-up days.  Typically, in the past, any days of school canceled due to inclement weather would have been made up at the end of the academic year.  The utilization of Flexible Instructional Days (FID) allows AGCS to hold remote learning in place of adding days and extending the end of the school year.
