Senator Andrew Dinniman Presents Award to Avon Grove Charter School

Citation Presentation On Monday, November 9th, Senator Andrew Dinniman presented a Citation from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Avon Grove Charter School for being named as one of the top 15 percent of Charter Schools in America and in the top 2 percent of best public high school teachers in the country by Niche. AGCS also ranks second for having the best public high school teachers in Chester County. AGCS aims to inspire passion for lifelong learning one student at a time and provide an accepting community that unlocks students' abilities to discover and reach their full potential.

Head of School, Kristen Bishop, Chief Financial Officer, Donna Archer, and Chief Academic Officer, Bryan Brutto accepted the PA Citation on the schools behalf. Senator Dinniman spoke with students and principals about the public education system and the benefits of charter schools.

This years Niche rankings are a testament to the hard work of our teachers, staff and administrators over the last year and during a global pandemic. Our school is blessed with a devoted staff, supportive community, and amazing students who all contribute to the ongoing success and academic excellence at Avon Grove Charter School.
