Welcome to the AGCS Athletics Department!

As we participate in sporting events, we want our school community to understand that the safety of our students and coaches remains at the forefront of our conversations. All safety precautions will be communicated to student athletes.

Attention: 2023-2024 Student Athletes!

It's time to start planning for your athletic physicals. Any athlete who wishes to participate in AGCS Sports must submit an official PIAA Sports Physical form, to ensure you're healthy and ready to participate. 

Please download the PIAA Sports Physical Form-English or the PIAA Sports Physical-Spanish, have your physician complete it, and return it to the State Road Main Campus Office by the due date listed for the season, below. We only require one sports physical form per school year; if you participate in multiple sports, we will have your physical on file and you do not need to submit additional forms.

PIAA Sports Physical Deadlines

All physicals must be completed after June 1st, 2023 in order to participate in the 2023-2024 school year.

• Fall 2023 Season: High School due Friday, August 11th, Middle School due Friday, August 25th
• Winter 2023-2024 Season: TBA
• Spring 2024 Season: TBA

Tryouts

Varsity Boys Soccer
Tryouts are August 14th-16th, 3:00-5:00 PM at the State Road Campus back field
Players who make the team will begin practice on August 17th

Varsity Girls Volleyball
Tryouts are August 14th-16th, 4:00-6:00 PM in the State Road Campus gymnasium
Players who make the team will begin practice on August 17th

Varsity Co-ed Cross Country
Tryouts are August 21st, 22nd, and 24th, 4:00-5:30 PM at Goddard Park, south parking lot

Middle School Volleyball
Tryouts are August 28th, 29th, and 30th, 4:15-6:00 PM, State Road Campus Gymnasium

Middle School Boys Soccer
Tryouts are August 29th, 30th, and 31st, 2:30-4:15 PM, State Road Campus back field

Middle School Co-ed Cross Country
Tryouts are August 28th-31st, 3:00-4:30 PM, State Road Campus by the STEM building
