PBIS Teacher Rewards Program
You can help show our staff how much we appreciate all they do for our children!
As AGCS implemented the Student PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program, we learned there was a similar teacher reward program available. What started as a teaching tool to train the staff has turned into a great way for staff to recognize & support each other for demonstrating P.A.C.K qualities - the very same qualities that AGCS is encouraging students to demonstrate.
The teacher rewards program has taken on quite a life of its own. Instead of just awarding points, staff must comment why a colleague earned the point. One recognition to note is, “Your positivity encourages my positivity” Much more than tangible rewards, is the sharing of ideas, activities, a space to seek help from one another, to express appreciation. Recently, a teacher used all of her points to purchase something from the store for a team member. This is so much more than a store for our staff. Currently, the school sweatshirt is the most coveted item and is a wonderful marketing opportunity for our school and community.
There are three ways to help support the PBIS Teacher Reward Program:
Direct Donation by cash or check made out to AGCS—please note PBIS Teacher Rewards in the memo line and send it in an envelope marked with "PBIS Teacher Rewards," your child's name, and homeroom teacher. Direct donations will go toward purchasing school merchandise & school supplies.
Donation of gift cards to Amazon, Starbucks, Dunkin', or Wawa. Please send these to school in an envelope marked with "PBIS Teacher Rewards," your child's name, and homeroom teacher.
Online Donation by credit card through our online donations website.
