Welcome to the AGCS Athletics Department!
As the uncertainty of 2021 continues, the AGCS administration is monitoring the decisions and communication provided from local and state health departments and our surrounding districts. As we participate in sporting events, we want our school community to understand that the safety of our students and coaches remains at the forefront of our conversations. All safety precautions will be communicated to student athletes. These guidelines are subject to change, as recommendations by the health departments change.
To learn more about our athletics programs and requirements, please download and review the AGCS Student Athletics Handbook. Also, please review the AGCS Athletic Health and Safety Plan for information pertaining to the global pandemic and sports at our school. If you have any questions, you're welcome to contact Mr. McGehean at jmcgehean@agcharter.org.
Thank you for the continued support of our growing sports program and we hope everyone is staying healthy. We're looking forward to another successful year!

Attention: 2022-2023 Student Athletes!
It's time to start planning for your athletic physicals. Any athlete who wishes to participate in AGCS Sports must submit an official PIAA Sports Physical form, to ensure you're healthy and ready to participate.
Please download the PIAA Sports Physical Form-English or the PIAA Sports Physical-Spanish, have your physician complete it, and return it to the State Road Main Campus Office by the due date listed for the season, below. We only require one sports physical form per school year; if you participate in multiple sports, we will have your physical on file and you do not need to submit additional forms.

Season Updates
-
October 1, 2021
The fall athletics season is underway, and all of our teams have been representing our school well in both play and attitude.
The volleyball team rattled off 5 straight wins, and their overall record is 5-3 going into Friday's home game against Aquinas Academy. Emily Sullivan, Gia Hall, Sophia Stephenson, and Emily Colp have been leading the charge. The girls have improved steadily throughout the season and have a defining stretch ahead to determine where they stand in the MIL.
The boys soccer team currently sits at 3-3 after a tough couple of games this past week at home. Captains Brennan Stockar and Braden Monteleone have been great examples of leadership. Keeper Noah Kibler continues to show why he is a former league MVP. Sophomore Agustin Lopez is leading the team with 10 goals. Braden Monteleone scored his 50th career goal in the game against Odyssey on September 22.
The cross country team has shown great success to this point in the season with both their boys and girls teams. This just in, Paul Lacour is fast! The team and school spirit on this team is outstanding. Marissa Civatte and Elena McFadden lead the girls squad!
AGCS added two middle school teams this fall in cross country and boys soccer. 8th graders Kiera Ollis, Tyler Czapracki, and Tim Gockenbach lead the middle school and are having great early season success.
The MS boys soccer team won their first game of the season this past week with a 2-0 win over Tri-State Christian. Keeper Owen Griffith had an outstanding game, including stopping a penalty kick. Chase Welch found the net first and Sam Neely followed up with an impressive goal himself.
You can catch all of our teams at the following venues. Cross Country runs all home meets at Goddard Park. There is one remaining, October 12, and we are celebrating our seniors that day. Come on out! The girls volleyball team plays their home games at the State Rd. gym. It's loud and the girls love the support. All home soccer games can be seen at Nichol Park down the road from our Kemblesville Early Learning Center.
Our Sports Boosters are always looking for volunteers. Come be a part of our Wolves community! Contact us at sportsboosters@agcharter.org.
