Welcome to the AGCS Athletics Department!

    Update - October 12th, 2020

As the uncertainty of 2020 continues, the AGCS administration continues to monitor the decisions and communication provided from local and state health departments and our surrounding districts. Recently, the local Ches-Mont league (PIAA) reversed their decision and the Fall sports season has begun. As we begin to participate in sporting events, we want our school community to understand that the safety of our students and coaches remains at the forefront of our conversations.

The Fall sports being offered are Co-ed Cross Country, Girls volleyball, and Boy’s soccer. Sports for 7th grade students will be postponed until the 2021-22 school year. Schedules are posted beneath Fall Sports, below.

All safety precautions will be communicated to student athletes during try-outs. All athletes are responsible for their own transportation and should report to try-outs wearing a mask. No water will be provided by AGCS, so students should also bring their own water bottle.

To learn more about our athletics programs and requirements, please download and review the AGCS Student Athletics Handbook. Also, please review the AGCS Athletic Health and Safety Plan for information pertaining to the global pandemic and sports at our school. If you have any questions, you're welcome to contact Mr. McGehean at jmcgehean@agcharter.org.

Thank you for the continued support of our growing sport’s program and we hope everyone is staying healthy. We're looking forward to another successful year!
