PA Pandemic Nutrition Relief
As part of the federal government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, funding for Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) has been extended through August 2021. Through P-EBT, eligible school children receive temporary emergency nutrition benefits via EBT cards to purchase food outside of school. The Department of Human Services (DHS) is working with the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) to identify eligible children and issue P-EBT tentatively in late May. More information can be found on the DHS P-EBT Guide Webpage.
The PDE has requested all Parent/Family/Public Inquires be directed to the DHS Customer Service Line: 484-363-2137.
