Free Breakfast for All!
On Friday, September 9, 2022, Governor Tom Wolf announced that Pennsylvania will make it possible for all students to receive free breakfast beginning October 1st for the 2022-2023 school year. All students at AGCS will be able to come to the cafeteria for a nutritious breakfast free of charge! Please remember, a complete breakfast is 3 items, 1 of which must be a fruit. Lunch prices will remain the same.
Share Bins
To help eliminate waste, at both campuses we have added share bins, where students may place prepackaged, unopened items purchased from the cafeteria that they do not wish to eat. Any student is welcome to select items from the bin free of charge.

Harvest of the month - Taste tests of foods that include locally harvested ingredients.
Parents are welcome to apply for free or reduced-priced benefits by completing a meal application after July 1. You may apply at www.schoolcafe.com, COMPASS, or by downloading it from our forms webage. For more information, visit our Free & Reduced Program webpage. Daily, students at both campuses are invited to pick up a Grab & Go Breakfast selections, including bagels, cereal, pancakes, muffins, fresh fruit, and fruit juice. Visit our Lunch Menus page for monthly Early Learning Center and State Road Campus menus.

Breakfast
Delicious, nutritious breakfasts will be served starting on the first day of school. Students may choose one grain (such as a whole grain bagel, muffin, or cereal) and/or one yogurt, plus one or both fruit items and a Milk. Lunch
Complete lunches are prepared fresh daily and include five components: Meat/Meat Alternate, Grain, Fruit, Vegetable, and Milk. Every day we offer our Students a wide variety of healthy, tasty lunch items that kids love to eat, including favorites like:

♥ Bosco sticks
♥ Ham & cheese wrap
♥ Turkey sandwich
♥ Mozzarella sticksTo ensure your student does not incur a negative balance, please replenish their SchoolCafe account prior to the first day of school. Meal a la carte pricing for the 2022-2023 school year is:

- Sides $1.00
- Water $1.00
- Snacks (cash only) $1.00

Managing Your Lunch Account

AGCS offers schoolcafé, an online service for the convenience of replenishing lunch accounts with a debit or credit card. Please note that schoolcafé adds 5% to each online payment transaction. Visit schoolcafé to make an online deposit to your child's cafeteria account, check balances, review purchases, and to get low balance reminders. For information on using schoolcafé, please download the schoolcafé Instructions Flyer.
You are also welcome to send in a deposit for your student via check (made out to AGCS) with no additional charges. Please use the Cafeteria Account Deposit Slip and mark the envelope "Cafeteria Deposit," with your child's name and homeroom Teacher.
