Welcome to Health Services

  • AGCS Health Services

Our AGCS School Nurses offer our students a safe, caring environment to come to in sickness and in health, to discuss any and all health concerns, and to keep our students in school and learning. School nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students. The AGCS Nursing Offices are staffed by Registered Nurses during all student school days, providing first aid to sick or injured students and administering prescribed medications. They also provide health counseling and health education for all students.

In compliance with the Pennsylvania Department of Health's guidelines for the administration of medicines and emergency care, we require a doctor's order to administer medications to your child. Please visit our Medication During School webpage for forms and more information.

Physical exam forms are required for all Kindergarten, sixth grade, and eleventh grade students. Dental exam forms are required for all Kindergarten, third grade, and seventh grade students.

Meet our School Nurses

  • "As a Nurse we have the opportunity to heal the mind, soul, heart, and body of our patients, their families, and ourselves. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you never made them feel."
