Advanced Placement
Avon Grove Charter School offers 14 Advanced Placement (AP) courses within its advanced program offerings program. The Advanced Placement program is a nationally recognized, highly rigorous curriculum program by the College Board. These courses provide our high school students with the opportunity to choose college-level courses and receive undergraduate college credits if their scores on the associated Advanced Placement Examination qualify.
Advanced Placement students may be required to take the associated Advanced Placement Exam in May. Approximately 90% of colleges and universities across the United States award credit to students whose AP Exam scores are within a specified range.
