Welcome to AGCS!
We are an innovative, college-preparatory, public, tuition-free charter school with a small, neighborhood feel. Ours is a nurturing environment, where every child is well known and cared for by our staff. We focus on your child as a whole - offering an academically rigorous curriculum with differentiated learning opportunities for each student, combined with social-emotional well-being programs for strong character development. AGCS is so much more than an outstanding education for your child - we're family.
Opened in 2002, AGCS educates children in Kindergarten through 12th grade. We have two campuses in Chester County, Pennsylvania: our Main Campus for grades 4-12 is located in the small town of West Grove and our Early Learning Center for K-3rd grade is nearby in Kemblesville, Pennsylvania. AGCS is independent of the district and is governed by its own Board of Trustees, who are held directly accountable for the goals outlined in our charter.

Every single day at AGCS, we witness the start of something extraordinary! For our youngest learners, this might be the year they crack open their very first chapter book, eyes wide with wonder as they discover they can lose themselves in a world of words. For our graduating seniors, this year marks the final chapter of their AGCS story, one that will launch them into the next adventure with confidence and purpose.
Perhaps the most exciting new story beginning this year is the one we'll all write together in our brand-new upper school building. After years of dreaming, planning, and building, we're opening those doors after the holiday break and creating memories in spaces designed specifically for our students to thrive. Every classroom, every hallway, every corner of this building represents a fresh page where our students will discover their passions, challenge themselves, and grow into the leaders we know they can become.
As we step into this new school year, we're reminded that the most beautiful thing about stories is that they're never really finished. Each day brings new plot twists, new characters, and new lessons learned. Each student who walks through our doors, whether it's their first day or their final year, is both the author and the hero of their own unique story.
