Welcome to the AGCS PTO!
The AGCS-PTO welcomes all of our families, new and returning, to the 2020-2021 school year! This year brings many changes to the school and the PTO. We have an all new executive board and we are collaborating with the school to bring you new and exciting changes. Check out our 2020-2021 Welcome Newsletter for lots of great information. Also, look for our monthly Charter Chatter Newsletter and don’t forget to check us out on facebook and instagram.
Staff Appreciation will be our main focus this year. If you have a special talent or idea, please send them to AGCSPTO@gmail.com We know we have very resourceful, creative, and talented parents. This is a perfect time to form a partnership.

About Our PTO
The AGCS-PTO is focused on supporting the education of all students in The Avon Grove Charter School by fostering relationships among the school, parents and teachers.
The AGCS Parent Teacher Organization is a not-for-profit entity that works closely with administration and teachers to support and enhance the daily school experience of all students by helping to fund the purchase of curriculum, technology, site renovations, educational assemblies, and field trip assistance to students in need.
There are also lots of FREE ways you can help AGCS through programs like Box Tops for Education, Amazon Smile, and more.
In lieu of a traditional catalog based fundraiser, the PTO also utilizes a Direct Donation Program. Please complete the AGCS PTO Direct Donation Online Form to make a donation with a credit card, eCheck, cash, or check. 100% of your donation directly impacts the funding of important school enrichment programs and helps our school continue to provide a quality education for all of our students. We have set a donation goal of $25.00 per student or $50.00 per family, although any amount your family can give will be greatly appreciated.

As a parent of an AGCS student, you are a PTO member! There are lots of opportunities for you to help... committee chairperson, event planner/organizer, event helper, and much more. Whether you are a mom, dad, aunt, uncle, grandparent, or guardian, there is a place for you. Whether you have 5 hours a week or 5 hours a year, there is a place for you. Whether you are full of ideas or like to work in the background, there is a place for you. The PTO provides fun activities for our students and families, and raises much-needed funding for programs; your ideas, time, and talents are essential to these goals.
Please note that depending on what you volunteer for, Volunteer Clearances may be required. We would be happy to guide you through the process.
