VOLUNTEER CLEARANCE POLICY
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and TB Questionnaire
Regular Parent volunteers are required to have:
1. Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance ($10)
2. Current TB Questionnaire (no charge - forms are available through the Main Office)
For AGCS purposes, all clearances are valid for one (1) year from date of issuance. If you are
not sure of your expiration date, please contact the Main Office at 484-667-5000. If you already
have clearances through an employer, clearances cannot be more than one (1) year old. This
is a Board of Trustee decision for anyone who has significant direct contact with students.
This INCLUDES homeroom parents, field trip chaperones, and regular (see below)
volunteers, and PTO Members.
This DOES NOT APPLY to volunteers who: are invited as “guest speakers” on fewer
than three (3) occasions, “Mystery Readers,” infrequent classroom volunteers (those
attending fewer than three (3) in-class events).

TB QUESTIONNAIREThis form can be obtained from the Main Office or online at www.agcspto.com. This form must
be completed annually.
*Regular Volunteers = Adults volunteering for more than three (3) in-school events during the course of a given year.
