MIOSM
Music in Our Schools Month

March 25th-29th
Early Learning Center at Kemblesville

One of the most valuable ways to cultivate love for Music and the Arts is for children to see adult role models performing Music through singing, playing an instrument, or dancing. We invite any parent or relative that sings, dances, or plays an instrument to come in the week of March 25th-29th to share their musical expertise with the children in their child’s class. In addition, parents or relatives who feel nervous about sharing their love of Music can also come in and read a Musical story to their child’s class. If you are interested in sharing your love of music or musical talent with the students, please email Mrs. Reynolds at creynolds@agcharter.org by Friday, March 22nd.

Please download the Music in Our Schools Week Letters for all of the details.

During this month, the students will be celebrating the value of Music each week with a different theme and special musical activity. The theme weeks are:

March 4th-8th
Wear something Musical to Music class (earrings, socks, shirts, stickers, etc.)

March 11th-15th

Bring your favorite song in to share with the class

March 18th-22nd
Music in Motion (Students will have the opportunity to share their favorite school
appropriate dance moves)

March 25th-29th
Special Musical Guests visiting classrooms throughout the week
