World Down Syndrome Day
Rock Your Socks for Down Syndrome!

Thursday, March 21st
K-12th Grade

Please join us as we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing bold, crazy, and brightly colored socks!

All students and staff are to wear their craziest socks on March 21st to school, and we encourage you, as parents and families, to do the same wherever you go that day as well! You will probably get asked “Why are you wearing crazy socks?” That question will give you and your children the perfect opportunity to explain that 3/21 is World Down Syndrome Day and that you are standing with those who have Down Syndrome, and the Down Syndrome community, to advocate for individual rights, inclusion, understanding, and respect. #WorldDownSyndromeDay

Your children will be learning in school about Down Syndrome and how to best advocate for, understand, and include those who may be different than they are.
